During these live talks, we will learn from Dr. Akin Akinc of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals as he discusses ALN-COV, an investigational RNAi therapeutic for COVID-19. We will also hear from Dr. Lisa Henderson of NINDS when she explains the emerging role of antisense oligonucleotides as therapeutic agents for SARS-CoV-2. Finally, our session chair, Dr. Jonathan Watts of the RNA Therapeutics Institute at the University of Massachusetts Medical Center will explain how researchers are fighting SARS-CoV-2 with systemically and locally delivered oligonucleotide cocktails.
